Manufacturing Facility and Open-Plan Office

Project overview

Shade Systems moved into a brand new manufacturing facility in late June 2020.

This consists of a 2000m2 workshop plus an enclosed canopy and open plan office space.

We were approached by KR Flooring early on in the piece offering their products to consider along with advice and guidance relating to council requirements involving FR specs etc.

KR remained in contact regularly and were very helpful all the way through even visiting the rather remote site to assist with the finer details for the invalid bathroom design.

KR pricing was competitive and their product choices are comprehensive, nothing was ever a problem even to the extent of when our first colour choice of vinyl planks ended up being out of stock in NZ - they had a special consignment airfreighted in to meet the grand opening deadline and save the day!

Installation was efficient, fast and to a high standard.
